Unless you have a show tractor, I have seen some made from big square iron and big car hoods that look surprisingly good, they do the job. I plan on making one myself this spring. My friend has a wrecking yard and I ask him to save me a lincoln or caddy hood for just that. I baled his hay for free when his jd broke down last year so I know he will help me out.
