The front blade is going to be easier to use. It will cause the back end of the tractor to be a little light so you may need either chains or wheel weights, or both. With the back blade you will either be driving over and packing the snow if you pull it forward or you are going to be swiveling around on the seat trying to watch where you are going as you back up if you are pushing it with the blade turned around. Did it as a kid and it got old as a teenager. Now that I am older I don't think that my back and neck would like that very much.
