Hi, we had B414,434D,384D which are same frame as 444 just different sheet metal. The BD154 Diesel engines were a reliable 40HP and cheap to run. The only down fall was glow plug starting and required a very good battery and block heater for really cold starting. Brakes require yearly maintainance, cleaning, lubing rollers and deglazing the disks. Good utility tractor but to light for loader tractor to handle 1000 lb round bales. The other got you is Lucas electrical system but if assembled in U.S., it will have the Delco system. My 2 cents JB
