Farmallkid: I would go with the two bottom plow. On light sandy soils 300 will handle 3 bottom but everything has to be perfect. My experience also has been with the Farmall and I'm not sure the Utility will get as much traction as the Farmall.

I plowed for a number of years with Farmall 300 and a number 60 - 3x16 trailer plow. My soil was a sandy loam and that plow was a very heavy load for my tractor. I also had a 4x16 version of the same plow I used behind Farmall 560D. In the same field 560 would gain a round about every 6. If you just look at the hp ratings and weight, not hard to see why.
