I have a 2444, which is an industrial model 444. They are good little tractors. They come either in gas or diesel. If you check the sn plate on the right side of the clutch housing a British built model will have a B in front of the sn and a US built one will begin with a U. I believe they are of british design. The US built ones will have Lucas electrical stuff and a US built one will have Delco electrical.
