I have a SMTA with a 3 point very similar to the saginaw. I have had to remove the swinging drawbar with some implements as you say the arms will come down against the drawbar. Perhaps it could be dropped down a notch and be ok. It was fine with my rear blade but I had to remove the drawbar to use my plow, field cultivator and a 3 point disc. The arms definitely don't go down as far as on some other tractors. Depends upon implements you have I guess. To me it is worth it, If I need to remove the swinging drawbar it only takes a few minutes.
