INFO ON SUPER M

Hi,
I used to know quite a bit about farmalls untill a accident. Now things tend to slip my mind easly.
But this is my question I recently picked up a SM and the serial #s are as follows bell housing
L-506045 DJ, Engine 39527 D, Head 8060 DC,
Ok I thought that most engines matched the bell housing # Or is this not true . Also I have heard of the 8060 D but what is the C for on the head any info On this tractor would be helpfull.
