Actually, 100lb IH suitcase weights are 98 lbs. Otherwise, all I wanted to say was that you reminded me of a fond memory. We have a set of weights we bought with our 856 when it was brand new, and used them a couple times on our 1066, but mostly we have them in the shed for when we might need them. Used to own a MF 165, and had a massive box spreader behind it one year. It didn't really have problems pulling it, but this corner near my barn would lift it's front wheels off the ground about a foot, and then if you hit a brake to try to turn you lost all the power. Put a full bracket of IH suitcase weights on that baby and it was a new machine. I have never laughed so hard at a machine, because it is such a short tractor and little narrow front tires with all these weights. Looked okay with the spreader behind, but after unhooking the spreader it was just wrong to have all that weight on that tractor. Funny for a day, and I don't know what we would have done without them, but didn't match the tractor. Thanks for the memory.
