I have a 49 M with a 3 point and have a 7 foot blade on it . The 7 foot works great because it covers the tires. The only problem I have had, is one time it snaged the curb and bent the blade. I don't have a float on the 3 point and when the tractor droped of the end on the driveway, it put extra weight on the blade and when it hooked the edge of the curb something had to give. now i lift the blade when i get to the end of the drive
