rear end noise on 706

help from all you smart guys! i have a '64 706 gas. i never noticed it back when it was warm (-20 here today) the rear end squeaks when i move it after start up. only at slow speeds though, 1-4 low. if i let it warm up enough and take off in high it will squeak for a short time and quit and not do it again. i'm thinking outer bearings on the axles. yes i have greased them and even while it was moving.
