I have owned a couple of them that used the old belly pump for the tank. A hole is drilled and tapped into the bottom front, for a 3/4 pump feed line. You can use one of the side lines for your return connection. The guts are removed from the old belly pump as well. You pull the old pump drive shaft and put a plug in the hole. Works great.
