06 vs. 56 vs. 66 series shifting

I know that the 66 has the high forward, low back and reverse to the right and back. And that the 06 has high forward, low in middle and reverse back. How is the 56 series compared to these two? Never run one... need to know so I know which tractor to buy for loader use. 06 is a pain, 66 is a breeze. Thanks guys!
