What I did to install the flywheel was remove the felt in the rear of the crank ( the felt was used to oil the pilot bearing) and tap the hole where the felt was, if I remember right its 9/16.
Then use a piece of threaded rod and a piece of thick stock with a hole in it and use a nut to put it on. Also when your done plug the hole with a short bolt with sealer and use a new sealed bearing for the pilot.
