Started my 450 gas to move some equipment on Sat. It was about 10 deg. It started ok but was making a grinding noise like the started had not disengaged. I reved the throttle a bit and then back to idle in an attempt to disengage started but it didn't change. Noise did not seem to follow rpm change either. About the time I was going to shut it off (30-40 seconds) it quit. Now no compression on any cylinders. Seems to be valve train related. Cam shaft?? Rocker arm shaft??. Too darn cold to start working on it now. But maybe next week. Any experience or other ideas?? Thanks.
