I have owned both and as the other posts state they are nearly identical except for height. The lowboy doesnt have as much ground clearance so a belly mower won't raise as high.Also a standard Cub equiped with a belly mower is much more prone to turn over on uneven ground or ditch banks .I have never farmed with either just used them to mow.
