jeeper: Here are a list of the fluids an amounts. Cooling system 15 qt., Fuel tank 11 gal., Crankcase 5 qt., Transmission with pto 5 qts. gear oil, Steering box 1 qt. gear oil, Air cleaner cup 7/8 pt. motor oil, Touch controll hydraulics unit dry when new 8-1/4 pt. refill system 6-3/4 pt. hy tran. Rear axle drive housings (each) 3 pt. gear oil. One of the first items you should do is refill fan hub with oil. there is a screw on side of fan hub. Turn fan so screw is pointing to horizontal position. Remove screw and fill with motor oil to level of screw. Then turn fan so fill hole is on bottom, this drains off excess oil. Replace screw. On the side of your distributor you will see two plugs with blade screw heads. These are the size for large grease zerks. Some people install zerks. It is not generally recomended. An IH technician once told me best to get a tube of white automotive grease, remove the plugs and squeeze a small amount in holes, and only do this once per year. Too much grease in there and it will force through to distributor or governor. Do those two items before you use a tractor that has been setting for 10 years. Good luck and if you have any questions, just ask.

The need for fabricating becomes obvious when you go to buy any of these
