Darren, What the boys say is very true. But, they aren't making any more MDTA's. And if you adopt this one, you will own a rare and desirable piece of agrculturial history, not to mention one fine working machine. This tractor will promise an expensive and demanding rebuild/resotration, but I wager it's value will meet and beat your investment in short order. I understand that the SMTA's are appreciating at a stiff clip now. If so, then (your) MDTA is an object of envy and desire for the ages. Think about it, in 50 years your progeny can negotiate with the Smithsonian Institution to display it in all it's 100 year old glory. Buy the tractor and enjoy taking your time to restore it! Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
