I'd actually rank the K&N and oil bath both about the same, POOR. Dry pleated paper element that's large enough is best for both flow and removing dirt from the combustion air. There will be about 20 posts to follow claiming the K&N's are great and as many about the oil baths being great but I've done an oil analysis test that confirms that the K&N's let dirt into the oil. And the steel mesh that oil bath cleaners use You can almost see thru. ALL heavy equip. manufacturers use two-stage dry pleated paper elements now because THEY WORK.
