I have seen a "Super M" as you describe -- not true. Check other casting codes (the letter X, 1952, or above, will indicate it is a Super M, although there were some M's made in 1952 also, and look at the chassis serial number on the left side of the clutch housing. The prefix FBK means M, SM means Super M. It is next to impossible (not to mention expensive) to upgrade an M to a Super M, there are just too many differences than a simple engine change.
