I recently purchased a Farmall cub . I was told it is a 1949, but I have been looking at photos and I see some differences in year models.Miine has the exhaust turned down and runs to the rear. The photos of the '49s I have seen show the exhaust straight up through the hood. This one I bought does not have any dents or rusted places anywhere! It smokes and needs new rubber. I also got IH implements with it. I gave $1,600. How do I identify and where is the serial number. I am wanting to order a manual but do not know what one. I have seen many with different numbers and letters beside the name Farmall Cub. I am certainally new with this tractor and need help. I own and use a MF-65 Dieselmatic. I can send photos. Thanks again, Owen orjb@texasisp.com
