Our Ag diesel teacher blew one up one day. He just got done telling us never to stick your head over the battery, especially when taking the jumper cables off and it blew. It sounded like a shotgun went off in the shop, top of the battery hit the rafters and the rafters are about 20 ft up there. Kinda makes you respect batterys.
