The Red, Like Tractor Vet, & Wide Open said Clutch, TA and the front end. Also is there any problem in the transmission, or rearend, gears will chip teeth sometimes. 3 yrs ago did a clutch/TA job, also countershaft seals on my ol 966. The guy who did the work for me checked the rearend and tranny and mine was good to go. That peace of mind is work tons to me now.
If the back end of that 1066 is as solid as the engin is suppose to be thin you can't go too wrong on this ol'Darlin
