A (plain old A, not Super A), has a different motor than a 100, (A has a C-113 engine, 100 Has a C-123 engine, same as Super C). The Plain A has the same engine as a Super A 'cept the Super has a spot on the right side (below the distributor) for the engine mounted hydro pump, Gear driven off the cam shaft main gear, which powers the hydro pack, (under the fuel tank, double rockshaft arms) which lift implements. The Plain ol' A doesn't have the hydro lift, and thus would not interchange implements with the 100, other than drawbar mounted implements. Sheet metal will be different too. 100 has larger radiator, and water pump, A did not have water pump, and uses a smaller radiator. In short, the A does not compare to the 100, as well as a Super A, but then not exaclty either. The later Super A, dubbed the Super A-1, got the larger C-123 engine....... Clear as mud?
