Sam: I think Jim is correct. First your mower has to be a 16A, it is the only fully mounted mower ever made for the A or SA. I know my neighbor could be mowing, and while I was never there when he changed from mower to the drawbar, he could be out raking hay in a half hour with the mower removed. So there has to be a system and it does work, you may have some pieces missing. My neighbor could change from drawbar to mower almost as quick.
