Something you might not want to discount is the possiblity of a faulty pump. Been through this many times with pumps for the 06 and up tractors. Especially from CNH. We had a pump we put in a 806 one time that was so loud you could hear it over a ArtsWay hammer mill! Check you "new" or "Reman" pumps very carefully!
They should turn smoothly and without any rough or catchy spots. Otherwise they will howl you go death. When I go to CNH to buy a pump I usually end up checking over 5 or 6 before I find a satisfactory one. Another benefit of subing out the work to the low bider! Doc Holiday
