Hello,This is only partly related to tractors. Just wondering what wood you all think is best for replacing equipment trailer deck. Have a 9 ton Eager beaver trailer and the deck is mostly rotted out. Trailer sits outside nearly always. Have access to many kinds of hard woods here on our Ohio farm. One fellow said red elm. Others say red or white oak. Boards will be 1 3/4" thick. Figured IH fans might have good advice on this. Also any of you all who mow with older Woods batwings may want to look at my post in Implement Alley.Had a close call today. To tired to type it all again here. Thanks YC
