Hand crank ain't that bad, just don't wrap your thumbs around the crank. When i start dads F-20 I crank all the way around and then pull the crank towards me. When i crank the h i put the crank so it sticks out the left side of the tractor(when you stand in front)and give it a quarter turn and pull the crank towards me. So don't put it out in the fence row, the battery might die sometime.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
