Super A originality lighting question

I'm doing a complete restoration on a 1950 Farmall Super A. When I got it it had the flatter sealed beam headlights on it and they looked original to the tractor as best I could tell. I bought the same type to put back on it. But, in Guy Fay's Letter Series Originality Guide, he list that the tear drop lights were used until 1952. If I want to be correct to the tractor do I need the tear drop lights for my 1950 Model, or were the seal beam flat lights an option in 1950? This tractor does have a lot of options to include radiator shutter/temp gauge, belt pulley...
