1939 thru I think mid 1941 had rubber mounts Farmall replaced them with a kit which included solid mounts and different frame rails. The reason I was told is the problem my 40 H has, the mounts drooped and let the front of the engine sag.Mine is down enough where the crank won't line up any more. I had Case/Ih look up motor mounts and they are no longer avalible. I believe I read here somewhere that you can take the old ones out and burn/cut the rubber out and weld a solid spacer in place of the rubber and then reinstall. I plan to try that this spring when I can take my bucket off. If I am wrong about this I am sure someone else will have a different idea.Brad
