Bull Pinion Teeth

I took the rear apart on my H and one of the inner axel bearings dropped a ball and it must have gone through the bull gears. The smaller bull pinion gear has 3 three teeth with chips out of them (about the same size as the axel ball bearings). Would it be ok to smooth out the chipped areas with a die grinder or should I find a replacement?
