Touch Control has down pressure also. The levers are for front mounted implements, and rear implements attached to the front rockshaft. If you put a 3 point on it, you can add a spool valve and lever to run to the hyd cylinder, and it will work the same way as JD, you then have 3 levers. There is also a factory option for rear mounted or trailing implements, I assume it works the same way, but I have never seen one. On most JD and other tractors, the 3 point lever stays where you put it as you say, it's the remote that snaps back.
