when we pull our 3 14 ft IHC 150hoe drills in 1 set it is 42 ft wide and we turn around with it out of the ground but drill our outsides of the fields with 3 rounds around and that gives back and forth turning room.
Now if you want straight drill rows with the 12 inch drill turn your swinging drawbar loose. A old fellow told me one time you can not drill a straight row with a straight hitch. He was right. We do it all the time with our 1586 when we do any seeding or pulling our 60 ft rod weeder.
