one other thing to check- happened with my F656- the fiberglass shroud that holds the fwd/rev lever cracked and let the lever move further away from the centerline of the tractor than it is supposed to track. the lever travel distances in and out are crucial to having the hydro work right. the shroud is no longer available, so i made a metal insert and popriveted it to the fiberglass.
