You'll never understand how much you'll use a loader until you get one. A Farmall H has PLENTY of power to lift stuff with a loader if the hydraulic system is in good shape. I have a '43H that my Dad put a loader on in 1947. It did HEAVY duty with that loader until the mid-50s when we got a 300 Utility to do the loader work. They are hard to steer when the loader is full, but you'll catch onto steering it while it's moving, and you'll learn to use the hydraulic system effectively, even if it's not live. If you can find/afford a loader made in the last 25 years, chances are it has a sub-frame that bolts to the rear axle housings and the side rails along side the engine. This type of loader can be mounted in 15 minutes or less.
