I agree. Nothing more rewarding than getting a tractor back going again that you are working on. You just here nothing but music when it runs again for the first time. I have been there myself where you just eat, breath, and sleep wrenching on a tractor project (devoting every spare minute). The only thing I like better than working on them is operating them when you are done. Nothing like operating a fresh restored one. You hit the nail right on the head when you made the hobby comment. The cost that it takes to restore one often exceeds the value of it when finished. But the difference in value and invested money does make a fairly cheap hobby. Alot more expensiver hobby's out there. I always look for productivety in my hobby's. A productive hobby will put you further ahead in life than one that is not productive.
