Bob, Hope you haven't started making the new pitman yet. The measurements I sent last night were from a sketch that I made from a broken one some years ago. Like you I was going to make a new one but in the end it was quicker and easier to buy new ones which I still have in the shed. I thought I had better run a rule over them to check the measurements and found that there were some errors in my sketch. The length of the stick is 35-5/8", the first hole from the knife head end is 1-7/8". All other dimensions are the same. Sorry for the mistake. Sid.
