John: You could straighten that drawbar in a press. One of the first things we always did with a new tractor was weld a 3/4" thick bar across the cross bar section of the U. They were never heavy enough from factory. As to roller or strap it's your preference, originally roller was optional and was good at cutting down on wear if you were doing work allowing drawbar to swing. On the pin under tractor it was oversize from new, aprox 1/8 over. This must be loose to allow for flexing of drawbar. A tight fit will break transmission case.
