I live in the Willamette Valley (50 inches of rain, no snow, every year). While it is true that we don't have as much old iron as other places, it is also true that we have to keep it covered up most of the time so that time and weather don't take it away from us.
I really enjoy the trips we take to eastern Oregon and Idaho. That is where the machinery sits out so rubbernecker tourists like me can see and dream about it.
I'll admit that sometimes I feel like I'm the only one in the valley with an old Farnmall in his garage.
