560 gas question

Worked on getting a 560 fired up this weekend, and temporarily succeeded but had to use ether through the carb.
My questions are, (since Ive never worked on one before)
1. Can you use regular unleaded pump gas ,or do you need to add a lead substitue so not to burn the valves.
2. Is the 560 carb hard to repair? Gas just poured out so the float is probably stuck or gummed up.
3. Has anyone converted to electronic ignition, or are points/condenser just as good.
4. Oil pressure guage didnt come up either so Im glad it didnt run long. Will have to check it out.
5. Anyone have a steering wheel thats not too rusted up and want to sell it?
