Cheg, Great idea, no sweat. I use an 8 foot grader blade, mounted to an after-market 3pth on my SMTA. I plow snow on 1/2 mile of steep, twisty driveway. The tires are loaded and I mount tire chains too. In the past I plowed with a JD B and a front mounted blade. Very primitive. I like the flexibility of the rear blade and the option to either push or pull the snow. I've moved up to 24" of new snow, but prefer a foot or less at time. As they say, "...plow with the storm." Don't get scared off by the naysayers. A $35,000 truck with a Fisher Quick-Switch plow sure looks grand. And with the radio and heater on, you hardly know it's snowing! Your M will move all the snow you can stand, and put it pretty much where you want it. Keep your three points of contact as you climb on and off the old girl and you'll do it with ease. Enjoy. The next best thing to a new tractor, is a new implement!
