Cheg, I remember reading a post kind of like this during the Summer. If you do not really need 3pt I would not put it on the tractor just to plow snow. Somebody posted a picture of a really nice plow frame they built to put on the front of an M it looked very strong and simple. On that frame you could mount a pickup truck type plow. I think that it would be the best way to go and it is on my list of things to build. I have been plowing snow in Western New York for over 18 years with an M, 3pt hitch, and back up blade. It works, you need weight on the tractor and it always pushed all the snow I had to push. The only problem is going backwards all the time, every time I go backwards I wish I was going frontwards it is a pain. Some people like the loader and plow set up but, if you can't angle the plow that can be a problem if you are trying to do a nice job or plow a big area. The snow plow with an angle blade in the front is the way to go. I will search my notes to find the picture of the frame set up if you are interested in going that route or maybe someone can put thier hands on it quick. One last thing my M with the 3 pt is not easy to get on, very difficult for my dad. Good Luck

The seed bed was soft enough that the rear end would spin and slowly work its way to the downhill side of the gardens slight incline. From this, we learned our lesson sinc
