Same difference as a magneto. The plugs can't tell the difference. The only thing is, the mag has an impulse that you have to turn past, then, back up to. Get the timing mark you want, turn the ignition switch on, rotate the distributor in the SAME direction as the distributor shaft turns, then, real slowly rotate the distributor AGAINST the direction of rotation until itsparks. Lock it down. You will probably have to do this several times before you catch it at the exact moment it sparks (the points open)
