I had a farmall 400 diesel one short summer and got rid of it and remember that every 50 hours of use I was suppost to change the oil in the injector pump. I never had any problems with that pump but about 6 years ago the pump on my 2290 Case started getting diesel in the oil and the diesel shop said that it was from too dry of fuel. Another time with my 1112 new holland windrower when we were swathing on steep ground it would pull lots better and not starve for fuel if we put 50 wt oil in the injector pump on it.
