I've used regular plugs, they do seem to foul up a lot. Not sure where you are getting the correct plugs, but they used to only be $4 a piece at tractor supply. I always seem to break the middle plugs when removing so I wouldnt say its easy to clean the plugs. maybe no one else has that problem though :) -Greg
