I have a '48 Willys jeep with monrow 3 point hitch and PTO it also has the front bumper weight. The hydraulics are live off the front of crank. It also has a belt drive govoner. The gears are 5.38 , same as all jeeps of this era. The springs are much stiffer than standard jeeps. I have drilled a lot of post holes with it and it's nice because you can use reverse to back the auger up. I have played with a 2-14 Ford plow but a 2-12 would work better. I hope this answers some of your questions.
