For the difference in price, it's well worth trying the cheaper plugs! I have no experience with them but suspect the only problem is they'll tend to foul more quickly than the D89-D. However you may be able to minimize fouling by switching the engine back to the gas cycle and letting it run a several minutes on gas before shutting down. Also it's not that big a deal to remove and clean (or swap) the plugs in the event they do become fouled.
