I agree - you're probably seeing just condensation. If your tractor runs lightly loaded in cold weather, condensation is bound show up when you drain the crankcase. Condensation can be reduced/eliminated by using a winterfront in cold weather. Don't have a winterfront? An empty plastic feed bag wrapped over the grille and held in place with a couple of bungees will work fine.
