Im not sure what you mean by drop box (TA maybe) they do have a TA, but I do know that the engine was somewhat of a problem with the 4386's It is a way overfueled 6 cyl. Some say the 45's and 47's were better in the engine dept. I dont know about that either the v8's were bad about putting a rod through the block, although We never had a problem with our 4586 with the V8. It was an exceptional tractor, easy on fuel, and with power to spare. If these tractors are repowered with a cummins they are virtually invincible, and will handle gobs more horsepower than they left the factory with.
