As stated in an earlier post, you only need one hose. Put a breather plug in the other end of the cylinder (if it's a 2-way cylinder) and the oil will flow back to the pump through the same hose when the pressure is released.

Either front port will work fine. If you have two cylinders on the 3pt, use them both. The rear port on the left may be used, and will not have any delay unless oil can flow from the front ports. I have a loader on the front ports of my M, and a 3pt on the left rear port. Ball-type shut-off valves let me lock either unit in place when running the other one.
