As CNKS said, you don't necessarily have to use Hy-Tran. Any universal tractor fluid designed for hydraulic and transmission application will work. You can get it at any farm supply store or tractor dealer. Even Walmart here has it.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
